ဂႏၶီရဲ႕ ဆုေတာင္း

[ေနာင္ဘဝအျဖစ္] အသစ္တဖန္ ေမြးဖြားခံရမွာကုိ က်ေနာ္ မလိုခ်င္ပါဘူး။ ဒါေပမဲ့ တကယ္လို႔ က်ေနာ္ ျပန္လည္ ေမြးဖြားခံရမယ္ ဆိုရင္ အနိမ့္ဆံုးအလႊာဝင္ ဇာတ္နိမ့္တေယာက္ အျဖစ္ ျပန္လည္ အေမြးခံသင့္ပါတယ္။ ဒါမွ အနိမ့္ဆံုးအလႊာက ဇာတ္နိမ့္ ေတြရဲ႕ ဝမ္းနည္းပူေဆြးမွႈေတြ၊ နာက်င္မွႈေတြ၊ အေစာ္ကားခံရမွႈေတြကို မွ်ေဝခံစားႏုိင္မွာ ျဖစ္ျပီး၊ က်ေနာ္နဲ႔တကြ သူတုိ႔ေတြ အဲဒီလို စိတ္ပ်က္စရာ ေကာင္းလွတဲ့ အေျခအေနေတြကေန လြတ္ေျမာက္လာေအာင္ က်ေနာ္ အားထုတ္ေကာင္း အားထုတ္မိမွာပါ။ ဒါေၾကာင့္မို႔ ...က်ေနာ့္အေနနဲ႔ ဘဝအသစ္ ရသင့္တယ္ ဆုိရင္ ျဗဟၼဏ၊ ခတၱိယ၊ ေဝႆ ဒါမွမဟုတ္ သုဒၶ အႏြယ္ဝင္ တေယာက္ အျဖစ္ ေမြးဖြားခံရမယ့္မယ့္ အစား [အနိမ့္ဆံုးျဖစ္တဲ့] အတိသုဒၶ အႏြယ္ဝင္ အျဖစ္ပဲ ေမြးဖြားပါရေစ လို႔ ဆုေတာင္းခဲ့ပါတယ္။

I DO NOT want to be reborn. But if I have to be reborn, I should be born an untouchable, so that I may share their sorrows, sufferings, and the affronts leveled at them, in order that I may endeavour to free myself and them from that miserable condition. I, therefore, prayed that, if I should be born again, I should do so not as a Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaishya or Shudra, but as an Atishudra.
